The trails through the riparian area traversed over what would usually be a few inches deep wash, but that day it was ankle deep. The Saguaro’s (pronounced Swaroo’s) were outstanding and we must have seen more than a dozen types of butterflies. It was beautiful and striking. For a desert, ...

... t have been as doable while lugging all of our gear up.
Special shout out to Brian and his friends Kevin and Sam for driving us and then rescuing us in Sonoita.

On another note: I realized it's really hard to eat when my body is this exhausted.
Under 20 miles= eat everything in sight.
Over 20 miles= want to puke.

I need to get over this ...
