... also learn to open cabinets very slowly after driving - a few cups and other random things have already fallen on my head when not doing so. The worst incident though was when entering through the back door I had forgotten that the counter was set up in the entry way. I jumped up on the first step and Whack! hit my head right on the edge of the pop up counter. I thought for sure I busted my head open and would need stitches.....luckily ...

... ll just run to the store for milk". See you in a couple of hours! Iowa- MORE CORN.. who would have thought Iowa grew so much corn. So we asked Siri " what do they do with all the corn in Iowa." Ethanol. Here was the trivia factoid of the day. Turns out Iowa is the top producing corn state in the country. ( Not the Corn Huskers of Nebraska!) 47% goes to ethanol production and they produce 30% of the ethanol. Who knew. Turns out Illinois is #2. ...

... grabbed in Knoxville. It's one of their sessions and very good. Our neighbors pulled in and they have two dogs who, and this isn't the dog fault, proceeded to go bat poo crazy when they got out of the car. After 20 hours of driving we arrived in Pella Iowa at 2 PM to the great surprise of Ken Venestra. It was clear from the look of utter relief on his face that he was not sure if I was for real or not.
