weren’t half naked people running around serving drinks. The roof had been
removed to allow for maximum viewing pleasure as we cruised around the city. This
was a good chance to see parts of the city that we hadn’t gotten to yet.
Earlier on in the day, we rode down to the French Quarter and got some famous
purple drinks with Eva and Tate, but that was about the extent of our
sightseeing so far.

The Port of New Orleans is the largest port in the world. 9,000 freight ships go thru the port annually. At its deepest point, the water is 250 ft deep. The port is shaped like a crescent moon, which has resulted in the New Orleans getting the nickname the crescent city. The Crescent City Connection refers to twin cantilever bridges that span the Mississippi River.

... Mixed with the humidity, perspiration and alcoholic fumes from the bars and clubs in the narrow streets of the French Quarter - it's a powerful aroma!

Bourbon Street is quite a sight at night! There's entertainment of "all" kinds - 3 for 1 drinks, hand grenade cocktails and "big ass beers" It's also a perfect place to get your mardi gras mask, voodoo doll or vampire accessories!
