Arrived about 10.15am. Got off at Cleveland Park stop and walked downhill for about .5 kms. Was very disappointed in the beginning as the giant panda baby was up a tree and a couple of other animals weren't on display either. I'm taking this last week + to get my work in order, I will NOT be accessing my work email while I'm gone and I am also getting the little things done for traveling. I bought all my mini size items this weekend and called the bank. I also had my cracked phone repaired. Now, I still need the international plug adapter.

Deep breath... this will be amazing!

Until we got closer and saw a large picture of a bank note out front. Oh they are responsible for printing the paper currency for the Federal Reserve. Can print a few extra to build a cool building, fair enough.

Reaching the East side of the National Mall we saw the Washington Monument up close. ...

    ... hike.

Along the way we were barraged from the air by random acorns. A close inspection of the tree you may be under will provide a view of the naughty rat with bushy tail species who had finished with said acorn and moved it on...downwards.

As we walked along Constitution Avenue there was suddenly a lot of sirens and the helicopters were even closer. Traffic was pulling to the side and then a cavalcade of a very ...
