... headed to the ocean for some swimming. There were some bigger waves and I took a hit from the wave and lost my sunglasses and the wave broke Rogers sunglasses in half. We drove back to Tamarindo and stopped at the little store across from our hotel for Roger to get some sunglasses and some little treats for some people - hint.....tshirt galore! Tonight we are not sure what we are going to do for supper, maybe ...

So this morning we made our transfer to tamarindo with a company called grayline! It's cheaper than a private shuttle as you share it with some others. We couldn't bare the public bus because it would have been no a/c, 8 hours and a few changes! So I think we were hSlpy paying the 50 dollers each for a 4 hour air con shuttle! The mile long stretch of gray sand is lined by leaning palm trees, oceanfront restaurants and small souvenir stands. Many fishing boats tell the way of life here, with the addition now of tourism. It has a beach party atmosphere on weekends for young ...

... went upside down! Our tour guides were way cool considering they took our phones to take videos and pictures of us during the zip lining. I thought that was cool! After we were done we walked around a little bit to see the other tours/adventures they had to offer. There was a "Tarzan" swing one could do where they basically raise you up to a tree and you fall from it with a string. I just couldn't do it... too scary for me! This completed our ziplining adventure and we were back ...

        Zipping Over Tree-Tops

... tree-tops, though if there were any animals around I went by too fast to spot them. At one point, they had me sit in Ben’s lap on the way down, both of us individually attached to the cables, but only he got to brake if we went too quickly. So not only did I have no control, but I was going backwards as well!

Now we’re back in the hotel room, letting our irritation at the way this hotel is run dissipate before we head out to find an ...
