... in Nicaragua you find that more people speak English. Even so, I had some of my best spanish conversations... they just happened to be with the French. There were two islands making up the area we visited and we definitely lucked out finding some great places to stay, food to eat and people meet. Originally, I was worried about taking up the solo travel routine here like I did in Europe. But now, I couldn't be happier that I did.
