Staying in the grounds of a stately (small) home for three nights. Nice walking in the park but Treacle has to be on the lead, rather frustrating for her as the place is crawling with squirrels. When I was a child coming back into London on the A30 through dreary London suburbs it always made me feel depressed but coming into Bath always makes me cheerful, I think the city is lovely and we haven't explored it thoroughly yet. I think the next stage of our lives are full of possibilities and choices; how lucky we are.
