    Post procedure NBM overnight, contrast swallow in the morning, then liquid diet for 2 weeks.
    POEM looks do-able for us with appropriate training/precautions. This will quickly become the new gold standard technique for achalasia (and probably for other spastic motility disorders). ...

    We boarded only a little late, but then were held on the tarmac for almost an hour.

    ... looks extremely wild up north and things such as petrol stations or even bike shops etc will be hard to find and so I had to decide if extra fuel will be required or spares etc. Of course its right into the Arctic I'm heading and so one has to ensure they have enough warm clothes etc for such extremes.
