... the area south of Stowe and found the Von Trapp family lodge from where they moved to the USA from Austria. The hills were alive with the sound of our hire car struggling up the steep, bendy road that led to the lodge, which is now being used as a ski resort lodge. Early morning and we are off on the road to drive around the north end of Lake Champlain into Vermont to head to the town of Burlington. Enjoyable drive around the lake. Roughly an hour and a half trip. Nice sunny day for travel. A few stops along the way for a drink and stretch our legs as well as Ozzi's.
