Jeff had organised a pontoon boat for the day so we picked it up around 9:30 and motored to the bait shop, the Kangaroo .. lol. We picked up a bucket of minnows and then went to one of his favourites spots on the lake to try for some crappies and some catfish.
It was incredible to be grubby travellers bouncing along in our oversized kitchen appliance camping at Walmart and then to be amongst a family with home cooked meals in woodland lake paradise. Thanks also to Dale and Cathy for the ride in the chopper (Robbie 66 beaut machine), for another lovely meal and a blast on a stupidly powerful jetski (I’m just starting to get some colour back in my knuckles). Well, it feels like about 33 degrees today but with the humidity it is 43! Luckily we found this great RV park and it has a pool and a great gazebo for us and the people are so friendly!
We decided to stay 2 nights and relax and enjoy the pool and the CLEAN, SPOTLESS showers and bathrooms. There is even a dog park!

They make each other very happy. The yard was a whimsical delight with vegetable gardens, an inviting hammock and children's play set turned chicken coop. His home was warm and inviting and filled with friends.
