... sunny, breezy afternoon, we decided to go on a four mile hike to see the view points of Carmel. The walk up there was in sandy conditions, not good conditions for my lovely trainers that was for sure! Colm was not too impressed in all of the sand going in his converses either. The hike was worth it to see the views of Carmel but it was certainly breezy up there. It was also the best place for us to come up with a plan for the rest of our ...

... seen before in an aquarium, like massive yellowfin tuna. Also saw cuttlefish, and squid and massive octopus! Also live coral...which we don't see much back home. It was truly amazing! Stopping at a candy store and finding a massive packet ...

We then drive to Ragged Point and stop for a bite of lunch. By this time we were starving and you should never stop for food when you are this hungry as ...

... Harbor seals, lizards and condors; despite the forecast for rain we've really lucked out this week and in fact were pretty sunburnt by lunchtime – oops! After leaving Point Lobos we drove back towards Monterey via 17 Mile Drive, which takes you through Pebble Beach and past the famous golf course – Dan got out to look at the course and decided he’d need to work on his handicap before they’d even let him walk into the club shop! We drove back to ...

Well Amir wrote a whole entry and then somehow it wasn't saved or published so here I am.

We had a wonderful day today driving from Santa Barbara to Carmel via Big Sur. We started early in the morning (Amir is really trying to pack it in this trip). We headed north up the 1/101. First we drove through Buelton, home of split pea soup up to Cayucos. We stopped in Cayucos for gas and water, Amir says because I was getting ...
