We got an early start and spent all day on the road to get to the South Dakota campground before dark. Beautiful state with rolling hills and stunning views.
Stopped at famous Wall Drug shopping mall and got some cowboy hats and other stuff.

The KOA Campground is amazing and is located in the middle of the Black Hills. Had a nice dinner and some well deserved and needed cocktails at the restaurant on site. Tomorrow we tour Mt ...

We had a very nice farmers breakfast of bacon, eggs and blueberry muffins. What a way to start the day. Then it is a couple more hours working on the planter and checking out the tractor. When we left Viking Lake State Park we traveled north on the back roads so we could visit the Danish settlement in Elk Horn, Iowa. Site #46 - Iowa State Park with site water, electric, dump station.

Very well kept park with some of the friendliest people. When the host learned that we were from Texas, she gave us some fresh Iowa sweet corn and other veggies. Limited trail system.
