... So we head back. As we walk back we hear the woman again. For a brief moment I contemplate to walk on, like everyone else. But she needs help. I walk back as she approaches me. ... informs that the Bear Creek Campground is 3 miles further down the road. I've never been happier to see a piece of wood with some writing on it. I start to see the glorious sight of picnic benches, restrooms, and fire rings. I continued on a little further until I saw what looked to be the perfect spot. Ample shade, close to the road, and a great back drop, which was good because I had about 20 minutes before darkness ascended upon me.
