Time to stop avoiding driving in Ireland and pack the car to head for Ennis stopping at Dunguaire Castle and then the Cliffs of Moher along the way. Two days in Ennis, almost 1 day too many
Not much to do in Ennis – not sure it was the best place to stop. In retrospect, I should have chosen Limerick or Shannon, but made sense at the planning stage. Day 208 - 24 September - Hop on Hop off in Galway
... the day trip buses, so only had the choice of Limerick or Galway - so decided to go back to Galway for a longer visit. Nice bus trip. Arrived and hopped onto a Hop on Hop Off tour bus which drove around the historical and tourist areas of Galway. Seeing the Burren and heading to Ennis
