... til toppen end først antaget, så det var lidt en kamp at få Magnus med hele vejen til toppen. Men med en god portion tålmodighed lykkes det.

Hele vejen ned fik han dog overtalt onkel Anders til at lege hest, så Anders mente ikke, at han behøvede at træne mere efter den tur. Men afsted løb de, og da vi andre endelig kom ned sad de på en sten med hver sin is i hånden … og et kæmpe smil på læben. ...

... that we won't get to the north island or to Stewart Island. We both feel strongly that it is better to take our time and enjoy the journey rather than race around frantically, trying to see everything. We won't have been "everywhere" by the time we leave, but that's okay. What we have seen, we have thoroughly enjoyed.

... aufgeweicht. Überall waren große Pfützen. Ich konzentrierte mich den besten Weg zu finden. Kreuz und quer liefen wir, wie aufgescheuchte Hühner, durch den Regenwald.

Nach 2 Stunden erreichten wir das Ziel. Am Strand war niemand anders außer uns. Es war herrlich. Die Wellen tanzten. Die Sonne brannte. Ich genoss den Moment und streckte alle viere von mir aus.
