Eight of us met at Macatawa Legends for Senior Day. Great deal - golf and lunch for $35. Such a beautiful day. Golf not so beautiful. Still had fun. Something about Boots? Back to Schmidts to pick up our stuff, then to Grand Rapids. Doing a Park 'n Fly while we are gone. Good place, will park car here while we are gone. Up early tomorrow. 7:30 flight to Anchorage.

Went back to Schmidts, cracked open the bottle of Woodford Reserve, had shots with bourbon balls. WOW!

I am sitting at the Grand Rapids airport, waiting for my flight to board. After saying all of my goodbyes I feel many things, but overall I am glad I made the choice to research abroad. It's hard to make changes in life, but sometimes a change is necessary in order to get to where you're going.

Excited to get to Cape Town, although I have a lot of travel time ahead of me!

... one day. Well it's raining folks.

We have arrived at Cabela's at 9:02 am just after they opened so not many people in the store. This is a great store and the display of animals is always outstanding.

We now go under the "Pure Michigan" sign and are back home.

Our next stop is a Pilot gas station for out final fuel stop. That is only about 80 miles so this is a quick ...
