... mosiac church with more gold ceilings, and the ever present tintoretto paintings.

It was about half five by now so we made out way back to Venice and caught a vaporetto to take us through the grand canal. Really nice just after dusk as the buildings are lit up and the restaurants have lights at the tables.

All this was spaced about getting a pizza wrap for lunch and sitting on a pier in Burano watching the little boats zip about.

It took over 90 minutes but was well worth while. After resting for an hour or so, we finished the day with a nice dinner in the restaurant just across the canal from the hotel. Another jam packed day of sights and experiences.

ps Can't show pics of museums. No photos allowed in most of them :-(

... was yelling at me again as I tried to figure out where to put my feet! Finally I was on the dock tripping over my feet, but at least I was dry! The rest of the group saw me struggling and joked with me when we joined up with them. They assured me that I was the picture of grace! Ha ha! On our way back to the square, we had gelato and walked leisurely. We had some more free time, so I went into the Basilica while Chris looked for a bathroom. The inside of ...
