... davanti a casa sua quando mi trovavo vicino alla Penisola del Sinis. E' in pensione e trascorre l'estate nella casa di villeggiatura in Sardegna. Ha voglia di parlare e la incuriosisce il mio abbigliamento da ciclista. Non crede che abbia veramente viaggiato in bici in Sardegna. Ha ragione. Se mi guardo indietro non ci credo nemmeno io. Ad Olbia mi aspetta la Moby. Da domani si ritorna in gabbia.

... de sécurité sont différentes par ici. Pas de « niaisage ». Tout le monde par la même porte, auto, moto, piétons, tant à l’entrée qu’à la sortie. Et ça fonctionne. Nous avons également été très surpris de ne pas devoir présenter notre passeport. Après tout, on changeait de pays. Et laissez-moi vous dire que ça paraissait. En Sardaigne, c’est l’italien que les gens parlent; le français à peine, et l’anglais très peu. ...

... visité le gouvernail de la Corse, tunnel creusé lors de la deuxième guerre mondiale pour permettre aux allemands de contrôler le passage entre la Corse et la Sardaigne, située à 12 km de là.

Juste au bout de l’île se trouve également le Cimetière Marin. Vous verrez sur la photo à quoi ça peut ressembler. Assez différent des nôtres je dirais.

Une nouvelle aventure nous attend demain…à suivre si Internet veut bien ...

... is taking part in a stimulating lecture given by a shipboard guest speaker, who is bringing history of our remarkable surroundings to life. We had our official introductions today and also had a lecture about food in Sicily by our group leader Michela. Fabulous weather all day long, but windy. Olga braved the whirpool.
We are now getting ready for our captain welcome cocktail party.
