... eat salad for dinner and head into the big city to find a grocery store. WOW!!! Albuquerque is not the small city we knew before either. Massive interstate cloverleaf with I-25 and I-40. Speed limit is 65 even in the city! Traffic is pretty fast and pretty busy. Glad we waited to go into town. We find an Albertson’s, which is humongous! ... one of the three trains going into the city. After that there is one around lunchtime and then three trains coming back during the evening. Now why take this if the city is so close. One, I can save on diesel. Two, I don't have to pay to park in downtown. Three, for $3 I get round trip fare and free use of the buses in town all day. What a steal.
