      ... way to San Antonio, and we'll spend the weekend with our friends, Len and Fran. Then, Monday we're driving towards Phoenix with an overnight stop in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We'll be in Phoenix on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 10. We'll have a day to do our laundry and repack in Phoenix before we leave Thursday morning with Marnie and Steve for Las Vegas to celebrate Steve's big 50th birthday party.       ... We've had a lot of rain making it hard to see the Fort De Sota Park. It reminded me a lot of Hannah Park in Jacksonville, FL. with all the lush, green Floridian type plants and the ocean surrounding it. The park is a chain of five interconnected islands or keys, with 1,136 acres of beautiful parkland and beaches.

      ... got off the bus and it was confusing trying to figure out which bus to take to where we were staying. Our hostel was called Blue Skies and it was in a neighborhood called Tulse Hill. After about 40 minutes of walking around the bus and train station we eventually find the right bus to get to our destination. We rode on the bus for about 30 minutes and hopped off in the pouring rain. We walked swiftly and found our hostel which was connected to a very popular neighborhood bar. ...
