        ... unreal, sun is fierce and not a breath of wind. Afternoons on the balcony are the order of the day, listening to all the birds shouting at each other and arguing over bread dropped on the floor at the cafe by the lake.
        Only downside is having to wait until 7 till the restaurants open. Not easy for two gluttons like us. Had a rubbish meal first night too which is enough to put us in a bad mood for about a week. Italy almost done. ...

        ... We donned our yellow smoking jackets and laughed at the stars...we had again managed to avoid the rain. Later we agreed that peace was back in our hearts and we would meet again in another land. All was good in this tribe....         Day 241 3 hrs, 8.2 kms Day totals: 16 hrs, 24.2 kms After Arosio I manage to stay off the busy roads, taking quiet roads where one town kind of blurs in with the next. Guissano is a sizeable town with a nice shady spot in front of the cathedral where I can rest and strum. The weather stained buildings give it kind of an old feel--but lacking in charm and or much effort to spruce up the town...
