... would leave Friday morning. We asked them to pick a place, and we went Italian (sort of) at Buono Pizza. Nice spot with a guitarist, nice atmosphere. They all had enchiladas, which were very good (I know because I always finish Donna's meal at a restaurant), I had a Pannini Arrachera, which was also very delicious. With drinks for 3, plus soda for me, and 1 dessert (again me)

Wir haben heute den ersten Schritt gemacht Hannover und die Region (Barsinghausen) ein wenig bekannter zu machen.

Unsere erste Postkarte hat ihr Ziel gefunden und haengt jetzt im Hostel Tequila Sunset in Morelia.

Vielen Dank nochmal an Tim der uns die wunderschoenen Postkartenmotive von Barsinghausen und Hannover zur Verfuegung gestellt hat!

unser naechster Halt Richtung Sueden ist Morelia.

Morelia ist eine sehr nette Stadt mit einer sehr schoenen Altstadt aber so langsam hat man genug von dem Smog.. da verpuffen auf jedenfall alle Einsparungen die Deutschland getaetigt werden.
Von hieraus machen wir noch einen Tagesausflug nach Patzcuaro und dann gehts via Nachtbus weiter nach Oaxaca

... close to xmas and it all feels a little surreal. With temperatures running into the 80's in the day and no prospect of snow or need of scarves and coats my whole concept of xmas is having a mildly forced revision at the moment. The Mexicans are very big on the nativity; each town has some type of display, often life size, depicting a very conventional scene. I'm not too sure how I am going to feel on the day
