“La Posada B&B”
NICE swank place with a wonderful pool area and rooms. Staff could be friendlier or at least smile but the owner Alex is awesome and accomadating. Get a reservation beforehand to make sure you will get a cheap room if thats your goal. If you show up and they are booked except for a more pricy room call Alex and he will give you a deal. Or ask for the hammocks outside if your a cheap backpacker.
Free internet though really slow and free breakfast! Also free taxi to the bus station though our driver asked us to pay and we couldnt figure out how to say something along the lines of Ummm Isnt it free through the hotel? But ahwell, its a nice place.

At first I was hesitant about leaving my Learning Center kids behind because I had been working so hard with them and feared a few weeks off would undo all of the progress we had made, but with the gracious help of my team I was able to balance it all. It was fun teaching one classroom of kids, but I am happy to be back in my role doing the job I was sent here to ...

I am so excited to see how much more they can improve. Just this week, I have seen students who used to never speak in class offer up an answer to a teacher's question, kids read an entire book when before they could barely read 2 words, and a girl who had almost no confidence in score in the average ...

On Sunday a group of us met at the Cofradia bus station in the morning to travel the 45 minute bus ride into San Pedro Sula. We took what the gringos (white people) refer to as the "chicken bus" which is basically a school bus stuffed well past capacity with people sitting on each other or standing squished against each other with almost no personal space. People would hop on and off from the emergency exit door in the back ...
