... annual film festival. The boys had a team photo on the steps of the entrance to the festival auditorium.

Free time to explore the town and then we headed off to our hostel accommodation in the quaint town of Antibes. We were treated to a good supper and then free time before bed.

Tomorrow is a busy day with visits to Menton, Monte Carlo and Nice as well as match 3.

... to walk from one side to the other in less than an hour! It was absolutely beautiful. We started our walk at the Prince's Palace of Monaco and then weaved down the hillside across the harbor to the other side of the city. We stopped for crepes along the way for lunch. Afterwards, we continued walking to the Monte Carlo Casino. I'm not a car person, but the cars in this area were insane. We went into the casino to test our luck. ... was kind of strange..but it had an amazing view! We could see the cathedral, all of Nice, and The Bridge of the Devil. The story of the bridge is that the devil granted it to an old farmer who agreed to sacrifice the soul of the first person who crossed it. The farmer tricked the devil by throwing a stone across the bridge and sacrificing his dog who went to fetch it. The devil supposedly swore to make sure he was never deceived again. ...

We walked back to the hostel for a quick rest an then back to Old Town for dinner.

I decided to have a local salad called Salad Nicoise with lettuce, tomato, egg, anchovy, tuna and radish. It was ok for a salad I guess!!
