So I haven't actually flown out yet, but I'm planning to.. In 9 hours. I just wanted to get my fans pumped up to read more about my adventures.

It's snowing a lot outside (in GFPK). I foresee a nice 1.5 hour bus ride from downtown Montreal to PET airport.

Uphill from a plaza was Quartier Latin where we had an evening coffee. Waiters kept asking us in French and we could not shake off a feeling of being in a magnificently unreal place

Several times we saw signs "Come back in May". I wonder...

... to Guy Paul's house, it started POURING. I had no choice but to just sit there on his balcony, waiting for him to get there. Luckily, there was only 30 minutes until the time he was supposed to show up. I looked pretty pathetic with all my gear sitting there cold and wet on his doorstep...

Au hublot de l'avion, la descente laisse apparaitre de grands champs couverts de neige et découpés par des routes dégagées. A aucun moment, l'horizon ne vient trahir le fait que l'entrée de la ville de Montréal est une île fichée dans un coude du Saint Laurent. Même au sortir de l'aéroport, nous auront du mal à nous en convaincre tellement l'environnement quasi industriel correspond à celui de tout autre aéroport ...

Salut! Bon, c'est vrai, on vous a un peu laisses en plan ces derniers jours, mais vous savez ce que c'est: metro, boulot, dodo... (sauf que metro, boulot, dodo, c'est plus sympa a montreal!!!) Mais si on n'a pas donne beaucoup de nouvelles, c'est surtout parce qu'on a eu de la visite pendant 2 semaines! ... I shared these thoughts with a few of you, you`ve simply cheered me on and said I could do it. Thank you for the words of encouragement and I`ll remember them when things just aren`t going right while I`m on the road! I guess that would not be excited.... that would be anxious.... anyway, all is well now and that theif will think he won the lotto until he finds out that it was only about 150.00. This incident is certainly a reminder to be careful about what you do.... truthfully we are getting excited but wish we were ready to go..... getting there slowly.
