Our last stop was with Lauren and Eric, Luke and John William in Little Rock, Arkansas. The boys had a blast swimming and the girls had some great cuzzie time too. Eric even had a break from call and was able to eat dinner with us. We woke up the next morning and headed all the way into New Iberia. The family was waiting for us with a warm welcome. We all agreed 10 days and about 3000 miles across the country was surprisingly fun! And God blessed us with a safe trek ...
Well I thought Vicksburg might be bigger than it was, but what a disappointment.
We left there this morning, weaving our way through Miss, Louisiana, ending up in Arkansas. The countryside was pretty uninspiring, lots of corn being grown, but nothing else I could recognise

... this oatmeal. At home I use honey & bowl sugar to sweeten my oatmeal, so I tried using about 4 of the sugar packets to sweeten it up, it just wasn't happening. So i picked at my oatmeal a bit and helped myself to some of Shane's bacon and toast, tried some of the grits too - it pretty much taste like oatmeal (better than the afore mentioned oatmeal though).
