... rolling hills. I know some folks like to call it the Ozark "Mountains." But, they're really just some rolling hills and big bumps, and look small even to one as short as me. In fact, the Ozarks remind me of central Kentucky where I used to live and, I can tell you, those are not mountains. Besides, they're not even as high as the Texas Panhandle where Dad grew up; mountains indeed.

... on line. It must have been an old ad. So we decided to go to Pizza Hut. What a mistake. The a/c was on and the restaurant part was freezing. We ordered, and waited an eternity. In the end I was too darned cold, so asked how long would the order be? Soon ma'm. Hmmm try 15 mins longer but waiting in the car this time.
Oh well one good meal, and one not so good.

... the Mississippi. We stopped along the way to look at the cotton plants. I picked a little piece off the plant which contained a surprising amount of cotton. We ended up in the town of Helena- West Helena. We had read about a canoe guide service that did tours on the Mississippi, so we thought we'd stop by and look into it. There only guide for the day had already left for personal reasons although they were willing to rent us stuff so we could go ...
