      ... to a liquor store, stocked up on beers & wine, drove back to our hotel, drank a couple of beers & then went to the Italian for an excellent dinner. After dinner we asked if we could order coffee's & guess what? The restaurant does not serve coffee WTF? Currently back in our room enjoying beers in secret & feeling like a teenager ...

      ... steak with grilled shrimp. Paul had steak and a stuffed jacket potato which he said was really good.

      Next day I went to mass at the local Catholic church St. Mark's.
      The folk there were very friendly and I was cordially welcomed as soon as I stepped into the church. The priest was a missionary one with a grest sense of humour.

      ... to shore and returned the canoe. After our little excursion, we packed up camp, and took our showers.       ... the Mississippi. We stopped along the way to look at the cotton plants. I picked a little piece off the plant which contained a surprising amount of cotton. We ended up in the town of Helena- West Helena. We had read about a canoe guide service that did tours on the Mississippi, so we thought we'd stop by and look into it.       ... Banjo Pizza'. We didn't ask about the name but were curious. Okay pizza but the place was full of little league baseball teams. Great, I said. We were happy to find it - kids and all - as the options were very limited. We saw a sign advertising a bbq place that we thought we'd try, but as follows our road-trip-bbq-karma, the place was closed. Abandoned, really. But not burned down as had been our experience.
