Hi

Kaye and I have finished our second day in Los Angeles.

The trip over was, great with us getting a connecting flight on an A380 in Sydney. We could not believe how large and comfortable the plane was. In business class we had individual pods which allowed you to stand up at the end of your seat and walk around. The seat had electronic movement buttons for the head, legs, and lumber. In fact it flattened completely out for sleeping. Sleeping ...

Once we landed we had to collect our bags and clear customs, so far so good for Brook's cigars! We were able to check our ...

So we went and saw the latest Godzilla, which was brilliant because Godzilla and his mates laid waste to Las Vegas and then San Francisco, both places we’d just visited, so it was nice to see them again just after we left, albeit being destroyed by a giant ticked off amphibian. That evening we retreated ...

... So that was fun.

We checked into our room and walked to the marina to enjoy the view of the Golden Gate and then we had a nice dinner in a bar/restaurant near the hotel. It was so warm in San Francisco we were really able to enjoy it! Then we relaxed back at the hotel, where mum hoarded the free cookies from the front desk (as they baked them daily) and some complimentary drinks...it was dessert after all.

The next day we walked around San Francisco, ...
