... Monterossa was especially unique with its old town separated from the new town by a long tunnel through a mountain. Santa Margherita and Portovenere were very "tourist-friendly" towns with long beaches, forts and castles to occupy our time when we weren't hiking. ... and I have a bathroom and shower to boot. I walked around most of the old town and new town sections today and took lots of photos of the picturesque town. I climbed down some rocks toward the ocean, to get as low as possible and watched the sunset above the mountain across the way. We met these two nice girls from Winnipeg in our room and the hostel was kinda neat. Its like an appartment but it just has two rooms with a lot of beds in it. We left Fiesole for the Liguria region-
