... Desert and we wondered how we had ever stayed anywhere else. Bell boys, clean specious rooms and a double bed to myself, it was a great way to spend our last night in Cali.

... to the beach which happened to be a DOG Beach! We wished we had Hobo with us!

James drove us over to Balboa Park which had a few evening events going on at the various museums. It was after 7 so we figured the events were private (also everyone else was very dressed up so we didn't get out of the car).

We are relaxing in the room tonight trying to store up some energy!

You get to know people on the ship rather than trying to converse with different people each evening, and our table in particular is filled with conviviality. ... went to the bar area where they were doing Karoke. The people singing were amazingly good. DH got up and sang "Sweet Home Alabama" and did a pretty good job considering the acts he had to follow.
