The last four hours of which -- you know, the mountain part -- were in pouring rain and the last 15 miles -- you know, to the inn part -- were in pouring rain and pitch black darkness on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I literally kissed the ground when I got out of the car. Then drank the better half of a bottle of Gewurztraminer with dinner.

We pulled into a very small six spot park and picked out our spot next to a babbling creek that was nestled up to the Pisgua National Forest.  It was a beautiful, peaceful spot. We stayed very busy here visiting the Biltmore, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, downtown Asheville, River Arts District and East Asheville,  The weather cooled off a bit into the mid 80's and being cradled between the mountains, our campsite was even cooler with ...

... out for dinner at an Italian restaurant and I couldn't believe the price difference between here and NYC... Everything is just way over priced over there! Tonight I had a main dish of spaghetti which cost only $6.70. In NYC you would pay probably about $20-25 for something like that! It's been a quiet night here but I've enjoyed skyping my family! I am just loving the farm life... Don't ever wanna live back in the city! Really enjoying my time here so ...
