... Our driver spotted the elusive 3-Toed Sloth at the top of a tree. He pulled over to let us get out of the mini-bus and get a closer look. For the wildlife enthusiasts in our group, the sloth spotting will be a highlight of their trip. It is kind of funny that they didn’t see a sloth on either of the guided nature hikes they did in Monte Verde, but then saw one on the side of a highway just outside the capital city.
