... hyperdrive the better. The planetarium was a different experience, lying back watching the stars on the massive domed screen. We were really glad we stopped but now came the time to leave and decide where we were going. I had been doing some searching while we were driving and there was one campsite still open which was basically on our way home so we decided to go there but I did do a bit more research as we travelled. There was one review that raved ...

... at Oissel on the banks of La Seine, shopping in IKEA next day (Rouen) before heading down to Lamotte Beauvron. A very busy stopover, completely full but no noise and no trouble, nice canal walk as well so worth using in future. ... we found a walnut tree. It was a shame to leave but we needed gas and weren't sure of timings to get to Rodez. Tierry's directions were perfect and for once didn't get lost, so bought the essential fitting and other bits for Pierre and set back on the road to the campsite. Phil took Tess for a quick walk around the lake and it seemed wrong not to come back with 2 pockets full of chestnuts, I was just thinking about putting the chairs & awning away as ...

... former residence of the archbishops. The building was beautiful, but I must say, some of his work was a little strange. We then walked next door to the breathless cathedral. It is hard to imagine how such monuments were built so long ago. St. Cecile dates back to the 13th century and took over 100 years to build. It was magnificent. We had time to browse through the Old City of Albi, then ready to get on the ...
