... saw it we headed to Platform 4 to find car 13. This train was 20 carriages long, plus engines! We were able to place our cases in the luggage rack at the carriage entrance and easily found our seats in a four-person booth. The journey was smooth and punctual with one one stop before we arrived at Poitiers. No one checked our tickets on this journey.

... rest time and then we decided to go out before diner. We went down to the ocean and saw the wall that used to protect the city. We walked to the Christmas market which surprisingly had a few stores open.
When we got home we had diner, the idea is that you stuff yourself at Christmas lunch and just eat leftovers for diner.

... fire pit and cooking a chilli on it, I'm gunna play some guitar around the fire with the usual wine and cards. Looking forward to it. I'm going to miss the three dogs here, bes, Keira and Wallace which is a silly name for a girl dog but they are all very cute! Also Aldo the cat, is the most friendly cat I've ever met, he just climbs inside my jacket whilst I'm wearing it. I'm thinking of sneaking him in to my bag before I leave! Joking ...

... decent food between 1 and 6 you can forget it, which I find ridiculous as that is surely the time most people want to eat? Clearly not. So after this week we have a couple couchsurfers sorted and a week of it in Paris, staying right next to the Eiffel Tower so should be great fun. ... got a lot done. Jobs included trimming down a couple trees which just get fed to the pigs and goats and then we had to clear some more brambles, but this was a very small amount compared to previous workaways and Pete did most of it with a hedge cutter. After lunch they said we could watch a chicken be 'dispatched' as they call it, and we could have a go at plucking it if we wanted, as we had made a point that we wanted to learn new skills that ...
