      ... ways like Turi woods but I do like hazel and chestnut trees for a change. Then there's always the chance here of seeing a snake - which I did! And the slugs are so pretty.       Ok so missed yesterday. Driving so no internet. Lovely drive south. Told sat nav to avoid toll roads so had great route using main and not so main roads into an area south of the Loire en route to Royan. Very friendly site in the countryside with mixture of nationalities. Quite tired so cooked a meal and had an early night.       Laura, Iain and Sophia's last night before the ferry home and Steve arrived, looking tired until a few red wines were sunk..! We visited Parthenay where the young family went swimming and I later heard all about the pitfalls of a young child and that swimming pools, swimming costumes and baby sick don't mix...
