Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

... into Belgium to get to Bastogne. Off I went and the roads were great...I was off the major freeways and on small country byways....through rolling french hills.....it didn't take long to notice I was getting close. it seems my route followed the 1916 front line..... so out of the blue memorial after memorial popped up....in the middle of farm fields, side of the road, on hills....they are every where. I can not believe how many grave markers.....sobering. the main ...

... anyway, then see the track had been opened. We hurry up to the track, taking some photos and trying to make it to the podium, but soon they we rushed along to the FIA press conference and gone were our hopes of meeting our superstar Aussie driver.

We wandered the track, took some photos and started to make our way back up the hill towards the shuttle bus to camp... With 10s of 1000s of other GP goers.

At the top of the hill our bus was waiting, ...

... Button. So good to hear Advance Australia Fair to celebrate Dan's brilliant win. Two guys from Brugges took us from our seats in Eau Rogue to the main straight for the podium. Not an easy walk thanks to mud, hills and the crowd, but worth it! Met a couple from Westport Ireland. He was a Kimmy fan and she liked Button. Told us we have to visit Westport Ireland. Very nice ...

... without somewhere to dry them. I was feeling quite miserable to say the least, Andy maybe more so, wishing he'd taken the rain **************ered him this morning!

We did buy an umbrella, though suddenly unfussed what was on it as long as it was sturdy and BIG, we're now supporting team McLaren!

Arriving back at the car, we turned the heater on full and agreed to try and nab a dryer at the camp ground to dry our possessions. Well then ...
