... trekking up the hill, I started to get a bit tired in the legs. Just then I spotted the Battle of the Bulge memorial ahead of me and I swear the theme from Patton started playing on my Iphone. That theme always pumps me up and it's one of my favorites from the Aggie Band. I pushed ahead and spent about 30 minutes walking around the memorial. ... have it downstairs, that doesn't seem to be the case. Perched at the top of the stairs is the "best" reception, with difficulties downloading photos or anything other than basic email.

There is a real log fire in the lounge, and the landlord promises to clean it out daily and restart it for us late afternoon. Definitely a plus. Know how much work goes into maintaining one of those.

The beach front has a very well laid out promenade with
various monuments, fountains and contemporary art works along its length. The
whole front is backed by holiday flats and hotels and I could imagine that
during summer holidays the place must really buzz.

... right, they claimed it. It was big, lots of carved hedges. I would recommend it to any person who likes carved plants.

Once we explored over 30 topiary trees we headed for some lunch. heading back to above the market. Found a nice gastropub and got some food. Maggie ordered the creaser salad and i got the mushroom soup with bread and Froi Gras. Unfortunately maggies ceaser salad came with langoustine. As she is allergic to shrimp we didn't ...
