... dead beat town but it does have a nice B&B and a convenient little supermarket to stock up with supplies. Some of the towns we passed on the way in (including Trois Ponts and Vielsalm) were stunning. They reminded me of a combination of the Rocky Mountains and Southern France. There are some amazing birds to be seen as well (both literally and metaphorically). Dad would be in his element.

Next stop Trier! ...

Drove over the border into Belgium to a little place called Hony. It is a tiny little village, well group of streets and houses really. The campsite is on a river surrounded by farms. The owner of the camp told us about a nice little walk to the picturesque village of Ham. Only 20mins she said. Well 45 mins later and a very steep ascent we arrived at a two street village. ... the bus. A couple from Sydney arrived at the bus stop not long after I did. When the bus didn't come by 5pm (it was normally only a couple of minutes late) Mariana decided to see of the police manning the barricades could translate the note de service. A couple from the UK said they had it had it translated & it apparently didn't make much sense and the bus company wouldn't sell a ticket if the bus wouldn't be coming!
