... also a good option. After a little walk there is a lake-shore of around 1 kilometer semi-circled around Sirmione. It has a beach-like view over 300 meters long walk-way. After it, there is a wooden bridge which goes a little over the lake. Few yards after, there is a tall rock situated right adjacent to the lake, and the view is beautiful. After the rock there is a long lake-shore, where you walk on off-white color ...

... and we mentioned Seattle, the owner said that he knows Rick Steves who indeed has visited his restaurant. Very proudly he brought out his tablet to show us the video clip. Wine was poured with a very unique aerator that is hand blown glass from Italy. When Kathy asked where we might get one the owner said he would sell us one. Another souvenir of our trip!

Verona has been a lovely stop and one to recommend for a short stay en route to Venice.

... four hours spent wandering around went quickly with the many stops we made. We found ourselves hungry and stopped near our hotel for dinner at a small restaurant for an okay dinner of spaghetti con vongole (spaghetti with clams) and risotto with shrimp. Not worth recommending but the waiters were friendly and humorous.

Back to our hotel about seven after a fun day of Vino in Verona.
