    ... to collapse. We are weary travellers, and the prospect of seeing more sites is not enough to roust us from our horizontal positions. Rain starts, and I watch the people below intermingle with trains and buses and trolleys. Milan, with it's 3 million inhabitants, is much cleaner, more organized, and more upscale. It's the banking and fashion hub of Italy, and it shows.

    I must note another plus to Milan... I seem to be communicating better ...

    ... keep us sustained for the day, and then made our way to the gigantic San Siro soccer stadium. Think ANZ stadium in Sydney. It was gigantic!! We got our ten club tickets and joined the queue that was already a mile long, and waited. And waited, and waited! Fortunately we met a really lovely English couple in the stadium, so chatting to them and with the Italy world cup soccer match being broadcast on the screens inside, the time actually passed relatively quickly.
