... was super super sweet and even between the 5 of us, we didn't finish it. As was tradition, we all made our way back to the hostel and sat by the fire and had some beers. We met a massive group of Canadians and Alex and I beat them in pool no less than 10 times in a row. As a result, they took the huge map on the wall of the hostel and drew a love heart around Perth. Aus- 1, Canada- 0.

It was good to see that they had kept it up and pushed through and were all slowly improving. We grabbed some lunch and I hung out with them all for the rest of the day. The mountain closed at 3:30 which to me was absurd. ...
... Alex and the dog's disappointment. This continued for the entire time I was driving for the next half an hour right up until the last 4 or so minutes when I finally got the hang of turning the bloody thing. We stopped at a lodge, had a hot chocolate and got to warm our feet by another fire place which was well deserved. Alex was happy because he got to dry his clothes off.
