... 8217;t get any worse. I had had 2 atm cards skimmed and now I had been pickpocketed. Lucky enough I didn’t have my atm card in there at the time just my driver’s licence and some cash which was bad enough. It could have been worse. All in all it was an amazing three days, first couchsurfing experience for both myself and Sergio... turned out great. It's nice to have someone to show you around who lives there, had friends with a car, and knew all the good spots. Saw some street music too.

... was 'official' but just like Christmas Eve, the entire waterfront just erupted with every kind of firework imaginable - some looking somewhat professsional but most just randomly going off in every direction, some up in the air, some out over the water, some over the streets and in the parks.
