We entered into a huge, empty, lavish lobby wearing jeans and sneakers, and the guy at the front desk asked what we wanted with an eyebrow raised. We said we were interested in the cheese board discount from my app but hadn't made a reservation. This is obviously something that never happens at this place because we threw the guy for a loop. He was a bit unfriendly at first, but I think he was just confused. He said that we had to make reservations, ...

The farm is 20 acres (I think) and is half vineyard, half farm with a variety of animals and some vegetables growing. Our main job is the daily animal care which includes feeding them, refilling water and replacing hay. At the bottom near our home - the 'Taj-ma-Shed' (a glorified shed with a portable heater and lights) is the chicken coop and run. There are 25 or so and one cockerel who kindly wakes us up around 7am, and disturbingly they ...
