Of course, I ended up flying back to the States. I didn't have enough energy to do anything else.
-----That was a good thing. (And I was lucky enough that no security guards frisked me when I returned to Athens' airport. Whew!) It was good because my hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan was where I wanted to be - for the moment, at least.
-----I planned to live in one of my city's beautiful, old, downtown buildings. ...

Glad we only stopped a couple of times, I couldn't have climbed in and out many more times.
ANOTHER EARLY START TOMORROW - we catch the ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee tomorrow morning.
      More tomorrow. ...

After a five hour car ride, my family and I made it to the Calvin College campus Thursday evening just in time to catch the campus dinner. As an outbound student, ever since I began Rotary I was always told of the Grand Rapids Conference. This conference was the most important, crazy, and final conference before leaving.    Later, after meeting up with my friends from my district, that ...

Out fished by your own little brother. I thought those days were behind me. Our annual Stracco's fly-fishing trips have been going strong now for over 10 years already. Alaska was out, for a visit option from the pops or brother this year so we road tripped it over to Michigan after the return for some Lake Run Steelheading on the Muskegon River. Met up w/ some ...
