    ... a Museum of the Prince's personal collection of cars. I got a little burnt, it was nice to stroll around in the sunshine. Back in Nice, we went for another stroll to the waterfront and came across an Irish Pub, so had a pint of Magners and some good hearty food, we were getting over Pizza and Bread (that's all we could read on the menu).

    Nice is a very busy, sun soaked, tourist city, a lot different from Arles which was only 5 hours ...

    ... br> Next day the morning was free for us to explore Nice in our own time, we came across some markets and had lunch next to the beach. (which has no sand, just pebbles!) We then hopped back on the Bus which took us to a lookout over the town of Nice before continuing on to a local French Perfumery.

    ... br> Back in Cannes we regrouped at a cafe (with toilet) and worked out a plan.............motorway to Monaco and then take the 'scenic route'. We also gave the Twingo driver (Sam) total control and the rest of us simply followed. The temperature was knocking on 31 deg so it was all about staying calm and enjoying the view!

    ... meal of spatchcock chicken with roast potatoes and veg..............brilliant!

    The evening ended with a 'knowledge game' which, despite knowing many of the answers, the 'oldies' weren't quick enough to provide much of a challenge. However, given that the big prize was a leftover legume, we weren't too worried!!

    So ends another great day in Fayence..............
