    ... I was immersed in a 'sea' of French people, mostly over 40 yrs (thankfully) and these people don't tire!! It was nothing for them to carry on all evening dancing (they love American disco & hip hop). They served the food in shifts, rather than everything being laid out on the table at once. Seems like a great idea. Also, they don't drink heavily. No liquor, just wine, which was not consumed, except for a little ...

    ... br> Back in Cannes we regrouped at a cafe (with toilet) and worked out a plan.............motorway to Monaco and then take the 'scenic route'. We also gave the Twingo driver (Sam) total control and the rest of us simply followed. The temperature was knocking on 31 deg so it was all about staying calm and enjoying the view!
