As it turns out, she had recently visited the States and during her visit, she came across my episode of Say Yes To The Dress while channel surfing, waiting for an episode of Whale Wars to begin. We also gave the Twingo driver (Sam) total control and the rest of us simply followed. The temperature was knocking on 31 deg so it was all about staying calm and enjoying the view!

Sam lead us right into the heart of Monte Carlo where we took a break and enjoyed mingling with ...

... meal of spatchcock chicken with roast potatoes and veg..............brilliant!

The evening ended with a 'knowledge game' which, despite knowing many of the answers, the 'oldies' weren't quick enough to provide much of a challenge. However, given that the big prize was a leftover legume, we weren't too worried!!

So ends another great day in Fayence..............
