... us the famous cake was sold out! Apparently it sells out within 10 minutes everyday because it is that good. Maybe I can go back someday and get my chocolate and cake. Luckily I had that cupcake in Brugge the day before. I have also heard the nightlife in Ghent is amazing because it is all student run so hopefully I can spend more time there in the future.

Glad to be off of the plane! The trip was not a restful one. All of our rooms are bigger than expected but the only thing I really looked for in them was a bed. After a nap we walked around the center of the city for a little bit, ate some Thai food, and picked up some much needed TP. After checking out the city for just a little bit I am ready to check out and fall asleep. I don't think a shower has ever felt so ...

... having next to no grease on them, they tasted very ordinary! That did not deter us from finding an awesome chocolatier though! We found one next to canal, and only got one each to eat right then and there, but boy were they amazing! Rich, and creamy, these could've been the best choclates we've ever had! Well, Ghent was awesome, but we still had one more stop left in our Beligum itinerary, so we hopped back in ...

... naturally curious, we stuck around, and found out that it was a demonstration by the Deaf Society of the Flemish Region who were fighting for their own sign-language to be recognized. Anyway, after that the cathedral was definitely BORING.
