... t recommend Red Corner Asia at Hollywood.
We saw Griffith Observatory from a distance.
The Metro subway is great. The Metro bus was not great the day we needed it.
LA is a vast city so we only saw a tiny part of it.
Hollywood has two sections- the grimy part and the part for the well heeled.
Sad to see so many homeless in some parts. We were told LA is America's homeless capital.

... line-height: normal;">First up we got a fast pass for the Cars ride and then headed straight to the tower of terror. Neither McKay or O'Regan didn't like that ride so much - shame since it was Rosie's favourite.

Then it was off to California Screaming. Definately a crowd favourite. We rode that a copule of times then back to Cars - we decided to take the queue as our fast pass wasn't for another hour or so and it was only a 35 ...

... s and geez was it gooooood. A great first experience of American food. So cheap! It was our first time tipping at a restaurant too which was funny! We spent ages trying to figure out how to do it, watching what other people did.

We managed to stay awake until late at night, which made getting over our Jet lag so much easier :)

The next morning we were up early and off on our next flight to Denver, Colorado!!

... host to those types of scenes in the TV show Ghost Whisperer, as well as the movies Gremlins, Saving Mr Banks and Back to the Future. The grass is still pristine I might add, and all they do for the different movies is change the frontages of all the 'buildings' in the area. Pretty cool.

We then went over to the alley where Spiderman learnt to use his webs, as well as the alley where some scenes from Gremlins were shot. It was then onto 'New York Street,' ...

... Crowe, Mick Jagger, Elvis Presleys old house, the one where Michael Jackson died, Dr Phil, Ozzy and Sharon's, and Rod Stewarts, to name a few. A bit of a waste of a couple of hours really, considering there's nothing to see, but it needed to be done. The plan was then to go to a viewing spot to see the Hollywood sign.
