Thanks to my brother's United Elite status, we could access 2 lounges in the terminal. The first lounge was the Air Canada Lounge. As soon as we walked in, I could still smell the new lounge smell. ... nervous about making our plane to San Francisco when we return from our next cruise.

We waited perhaps 5 minutes before we were called – only a handful of people in front of us. Once the Customs Officer was done with us, we went downstairs by escalator and found our bags straight away the out to the coach. We had left the ship at about 9.00 and now it was about 9.15 – so not bad at all.

... to be seeping out of the very cracks in the pavement. But it always smells like something. I've never been in a place where my sense of smell has been so constantly assaulted.
Of course, the most obvious smell, the first, is the pollution. Stepping out of the departure doors at the airport, it's like someone's grabbed you by the face and is breathing at you with 90 year old smokers breath in the morning after drinking a tall glass of sour milk. And then ...
