... activity - eating! We made pizza croissants, salmon and cream cheese muffins, macaroni and cheese balls - and when that all ran out we ordered pizza. I even tried my hand at making rice crispy treats. It might have been the wine or the pot, but they came out harder than granite. We ate it anyway. We stayed up late into the evening drinking wine and slept late the following morning.

On Saturday night Matt and I had a date night. We saw “Twelve Years a Slave” – very good but very intense! We needed a drink after that so we stopped in at Zinc bar before heading to Wong for our dinner reservation. The food was absolutely amazing – some of the best Asian we’ve had in NY so far! We have had a wonderful time in Hurley and it is a little bitter sweet as we pack up to leave. It has been wonderful to be close to family for some more visits--including a great Thanksgiving dinner. We have enjoyed our time with new friends and the time on the farm too. What a treat is has been to live here for a moment, learning some of Kevin's family history and making new memories in this special place. ...
