... its protocol and its security systems, there were none, but what did confuse us was that the 00:30 sailing wasn't even due in until midnight and there were lanes full of trucks, campers and cars to on-load. When at last it was time to head to the quay, the mother of all thunder storms exploded overhead; no rain for 5 weeks and in seconds we were diving for shelter between two trucks, blinded by close lightning flashes. ... the town before getting the shuttle back to the boat. We plan on spending the afternoon on the observation deck reading and relaxing. Tomorrow we go to Koto so until then keep safe and happy. Love S & S xx
P.S. Thank you for your good wishes re: my back. The spasms have gone thank goodness but I am still a bit sore in the hip which I guess is understandable, Apart from that all good.

... our included lunch is a tad ordinary. They give us some local wines, the white is very sweet polish remover, the red is just red polish remover. Eventually find a beer as we walk through the shops. No real shopping opportunity, mainly tourist ****, with little variety.
We return along the coast to the ship. We stop for a photo opportuniy at one their favourite beaches. It is white sand, but a long way down from the road we are traveling on. The specks on the photo are people.
... Grill is more upmarket and costs an extra $29. We had a complimentary meal there on our first night, thanks to Mel & Carmellio who planned and booked our trip.
Canaletto is Italian themed and costs an extra $10.
The Dive In is a burger and hot dog eating area open from 11:30 to 18:00 (we are at sea, sailor talk)
