After we left Queenstown we had a easy days drive back up to Franz Joseph stopping at The town of Wanaka on the way and enjoying the spectacular scenery once again. We camped near Franz Joseph town with the hope that when we woke the following morning the weather would be good enough to do the glacier trip that had been cancelled a week earlier.
