... couple of road signs that said 'Thickly Settled', which I was mystified by (are they talking about my waistline?) It turns out that it means densely populated and you must not drive more than 30 mph. Who knew?

The end of the day brought us to Mystic, CT. We walked around a bit as the sun was going down, catching some beautiful light and chatting with a road-tripping couple from Seattle. They have a motorhome and are spending a year on the road. I'm envious.

... highest quality materials in this house. Amazing! The grounds were also beautiful....gardens, fruit trees, a chapel, statues, stations of the cross, etc. etc. And surrounding all eleven acres of the property was the beautiful Mystic River/sound. Imagine waking up with your windows open, hearing the wind through the trees and the seagulls calling. Fabulous. The food was included and tasted amazing too.
