... a crab shack but they didn't really have what we wanted and what we got wasn't great. So for dinner we asked where to go and were told to go to Duffy's Tavern. We checked the menu on line and it was clams and lobster and all the stuff we were looking for. So off we went...and couldn't find it, went around in circles, Mary the GPS said go one way, Dora the Explorer on my phone said the other ...

... girl, Sophia, who met Lincoln for the first time today. They were so cute together. I know they'll both be walking and causing trouble by the end of the summer.

It was a great last full day of our vacation. We are very sad for it to end tomorrow. We plan to take our time packing up to head home. Back to the grind on Monday.

Remember when I complained about how hot it was in Florida? Yeah, I take that back. We're back to wearing jeans and jackets. It was a brisk 47 degrees today which is 40 degrees colder than it was in Florida. In fact, during our drive from Virginia yesterday we drove through a passing snow shower in Pennsylvania. ... t is that each year deer, moose, elk and all of those animals who have magnificent antlers shed them each year and grow new ones.

The day just flew bye, dental work completed (an extraction) and it was time to say good-bye to Judy.

... drive to Mystic after our marathon effort yesterday. Our accommodation at The Whalers Inn is a large upstairs front room complete with 4 poster bed in an old sea captains house overlooking the street. The nice lady at the reception desk sold us tickets to the Old Mystic Seaport at a reduced rate. Fortunately we wanted to go there anyway.

Our main interest was the wooden boat restoration works there and as luck would have it the replica of the Mayflower ...
