We think we were halfway there when it started to rain and we realized that we were committed to going to Strandhill when a woman and her 2 kids stopped to pick us up!!! It was fabulous and the oddest thing all at once. A friendly stranger stopped to pick up two girls on the side of the road in this time of not trusting anyone and being afraid. ... school, and realy to try out our new wheels. We were able to go out to West Cork, and up the West coast in to Connemara, Mayo, and up to Sligo. We named the little car, 'Jumbo Murphy’ (Murphy being a Cork name). He’s now a good part of the family, sort of like a second home.

Anyways, we had a great time, and I think I’ll let the pictures tell it.

Woke up this morning feeling not so bouncy after staying up too late to watch the moofie. Had a quick shower, got the bags out in time and went to a world class breakfast. This loop, from Ballintoy to Malin Head and down to Killibeg then Donegal was a tough ~ 175 miles ~

Peace agreement was not observed between political parties, therefore, curfew is mandatory and we have to stay in house. That sucks!
