I am out of the Shenandoah National Park and I will hit Harpers Ferry, Virginia in about 50 miles. I can't believe that I am almost halfway done with my ...

... ring neck snake was crossing the path!! Small snakes, but beautiful and hard to find - made my day :). There was a few miles of up hill hiking and then a day camp area, with a pavilion. As I crossed the grass a guy asked me if I wanted a hamburger... of course "yes" was the answer, then he asked if I would like a large bottle of Gatorade....and another "yes" was given, then he asked if I wanted some salad.....again - "yes", he introduced me to his wife, she asked if ...
