... grown in Oregon and Washington. There are a lot Comice, Bosc, Red Anjou, French Butter, and Bartlett pears. Not to mention, Asian, Sekel, and the regular Anjou. Since our last post on September 11 we have had a lot of folks visit the hatchery. Some just wander around and drink in the beauty of the grounds. Some are very interested in the workings of the hatchery. We have, by necessity, learned a whole lot more about fish raising on a grand scale. You see, we are perceived by the public as fish experts.
