... came on softest setting so increased Mark's to 5 and mine to 4.
Increased rebound from 50% to 95%.
this really helped especially with the luggage and weight we are carrying. Mark suggested a smaller front sprocket but maybe a couple of teeth less on back would be better. maybe something to look into when the trail gets tougher.

... Chalking. Each morning each rider takes a piece or two of chalk. The riders that are ahead of everyone else chalk where we're supposed to turn; we use the cue sheets for this too but the chalking really helps. Also, if you want to take a break and explore something, you chalk it so that sweep knows where you are and doesn't pass you. Today's 76-mile ride was relatively uneventful mostly because 70 of it was on the same highway. However, Carlee, Hannah, and I broke up the ride with some nice long talks about politics, favorite things, and some other zesty topics. ... about 20 miles from Nashville as there was a very interesting battle happened there. On the way I stopped at a MacDonald's as wifi free and I didn't have the address for Franklin. Had a coffee and delightful, elderly lady number 36 was tickled to bits with my accent. She kept coming up to me and asking me to say something. She also listed my order under the name 'Scotty' as thus tickled her toooo.

So on to the I65 which is like motorway and heads north to Nashville.
